Pickle ball and Late Spring Intramural sports

Pickleball is an Increasingly popular sport among numerous age groups. With the late spring of intramural activities, many students spend their nights with friends, competing at the Wellness and Recreation Center. Freshmen Charlotte Dorroh and Michael Thornton and their team, “Pickle Perfect,” tested their skills during their first game of the season.

Skyla Morris, class of 2025, is a third-year Mass Communications major with a concentration in Journalism. With her experience in the communications department at GCSU, Skyla has dedicated time to The Colonnade and GC360. Raised in Madison, GA, Morris resides with her family of 4 brothers and sisters, as well as a dog, two cats, and seven chickens. As an avid sports fan, she loves writing and reporting about the topic as often as possible. After graduating from GCSU, Skyla hopes to pursue a career involved with sports, whether it's reporting, writing, or even photography.
