Shadimon Smith

Shadimon Smith, Class of 2025, is a Dean's List Mass Communications major concentrating in Journalism with a minor in Business Administration at Georgia College & State University. From Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Shadimon would eventually like to work for the New York Times in journalism. She is currently the News Editor for the Georgia College Colonnade. She has written articles about important events such as student loans to art as activism.

She grew up in a home with three younger brothers and a wonderful mother. She developed a love for reading and writing at a young age and has wanted to become a journalist for the majority of her life. On this site, these are some of her works from Spring 2024.

 
Caroline Bagwell
Caroline Bagwell, Class of 2025, is a President’s List Mass Communications major concentrating in strategic communications with a minor in Rhetoric at Georgia College and State University. Caroline is from Woodstock, Georgia and would eventually like to pursue a career in Sports Marketing. She is currently in her first Broadcast Journalism class capturing stories from student events at Georgia College.     
Skyla Morris, Staff Writer
Skyla Morris, class of 2025, is a third-year Mass Communications major with a concentration in Journalism. With her experience in the communications department at GCSU, Skyla has dedicated time to The Colonnade and GC360. Raised in Madison, GA, Morris resides with her family of 4 brothers and sisters, as well as a dog, two cats, and seven chickens. As an avid sports fan, she loves writing and reporting about the topic as often as possible. After graduating from GCSU, Skyla hopes to pursue a career involved with sports, whether it's reporting, writing, or even photography.
